Ideas for Practice

Dear Friends & fellow travelers, Greetings from Goa.

I'm writing to share some practical ideas on what movements to learn / practice / teach.

I have made a plan for myself, to chunk down the rather daunting process of learning 46 movements, so that it seems more manageable.

1st April to 30th June…  American 1 to 15.
1st July to 30th September…American 16 to 30
1st October to 31st December… American 31 to 46.

This makes it 5 movements a month…

In April, I taught & practiced  movements 2, 5, 7, 9, & 10.
In May I plan to explore movements 1, 3, 4, 6, & 11.

I have created space in my life for this, by treating it as a daily spiritual practice … at least one hour a day …. (More on some days) whether or not I have a group.

Through this process, I hope to have all the basic patterns of the movements in my body before we meet in January.
