About the facilitators … Teachers & Students…creating magic together!
Amiyo Devienne …is a dancer, choreographer, dance teacher and dance therapist, trained in several psycho-corporal techniques, in Esalen Institute (USA), in African dance in Douala (Cameroon), in contemporary dance in France, Amiyo Devienne studied Gurdjieff movements with Deborah Rose, Avrom Altmann and James Tomarelli, direct students of John G. Bennett. Amiyo lived many years in India, in the international commune of Osho, where she created a unique synthesis between the eastern and western visions of dance, and where she learned the stillness of meditation. Since 1989, Amiyo has dedicated her life to this path, sharing her experiences on movement, as a science, as an art, as a tool for inner development, for both, amateurs and professionals. She has created and directed more than 50 performances of Gurdjieff movements.
Chetan Greenberg… has been trained in the movements, by Amiyo, and is a teacher of the movements. He is an opera singer, and brings a new dimension to our understanding of the Gurdjieff music…For more information about their work, visit www.gurdjieff-dances.com
Akash Dharmaraj…has been trained in the movements by Amiyo. She is a practicing psychotherapist with a Sufi orientation, & has integrated her work with the movements & 4th way techniques…She is an existential gypsy, and now moves around the world with her travelling Fourthway School…Akhaldans , sharing the work, with love, grace & wisdom acquired over a life of seventy years. Carol Squire…has been trained in the movements and 4th Way Work by Akash. She is the founder of Wild View Farm at Whidbey Akhaldans near Seattle, Washington where she pursues her twin passions for facilitating the integrative development of individual potential and of senior management teams for transformational leadership. Carol’s 35 years of leading companies and large-scale behavior change projects in Africa and South Asia led her to a commitment to co-create evolving systems of facilitation, strategic management and human-centered systems and processes with leaders of organizations that want to find more equitable and sustainable ways of working in the world. She balances her corporate consultancies and coaching with the healing modalities of sound and Reiki. She joyfully walks the 4th Way path with her teachers, guides and those whose paths join hers.
